The Guava Tree
The Guava Tree Truck is a Cuban American Truckstaurant that has been on the road since
September of 2012. The Guava Tree Truck is owned and operated by Onel and Pam Perez,
who have taken Onel’s Traditional Cuban family recipes and have added a modern food truck
twist. They were honored to take their truck on the road with The Food Network in 2015 when
they debuted on The Great Food Truck Race with host Tyler Florence. The Guava Tree Truck
was also named One of the Nine Best Food Trucks in Dallas in 2015 by Thrillist. Some dishes
you may find on their continually rotating menu are their Cuban Sandwiches with Guava
Mustard, Yucca Fries loaded with Black Beans, Queso Fresco, Fried Onion Strings, Crema and
Mojo Sauce, Cuban Donuts(A spin on a Traditional Guava and Cream Cheese Pastelito), Ropa
Vieja, Picadillo and many other dishes. The Guava Tree is sure to satisfy your Cuban Fare
Cravings.
